Turai Thecha ya Chutney

Ingredients to make Turai Thecha ya Chutney

  • Turai chilka 1 cup
  • 3-4 spicy green chiilies
  • 2 tsp crushed roasted peanuts
  • 2 tsp dry coconut
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • hing
  • mustard seeds
  • cumin seeds
  • curry leaves
  • 3 tsp oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Turai Thecha ya Chutney

  1. First take the turai, peel it properly, we need 1 cup so you can take another turai.
  2. Take the peeled part, put it into a mixer, add 3 tsp small pieces of turai, green chillies, garlic, salt. Grind it coarsely and keep this mixture aside.
  3. Take a pan and put in oil to heat, put in mustard, cumin seeds, hing, turai mixture. Stir it continually then add the crushed peanuts, coconut, salt to taste and stir it for 2 mins.
  4. The turai thecha is ready to be served with jowar roti/barrage roti.
