Ingredients to make Ginger and mango pickle

  • 250 gms ginger
  • 100 gms raw mango
  • 6 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp methi and jeera roasted powder
  • 100 gms jaggery
  • 1 cup sesame oil
  • Salt as reqd
  • 1tbsp mixed- mustard seeds,urad dal,channa dal,curry leaves
  • 5 to 6 garlic cloves
  • Pinch of hing

How to make Ginger and mango pickle

  1. Wash the ginger ,remove skin and cut into pieces then dry it.
  2. Fry the ginger pieces in oil for a while remove and garlic also till raw smell goes, dont over fry them.
  3. Add ginger,mangoe,salt,chilli,powder,methi jeera powder,turmeric powder,, jaggery and blend in the mixie jar.
  4. Now take a kadai add the oil,put the seasoning,add curry leaves and now add the paste and mix thoroughly.switch off the stove.
