Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup wheat flour
  2. 1/4 cup fresh malai
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Cumin seeds 1/8 teaspoon
  5. Lukewarm water as required
  6. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Dry mango powder 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Red chili powder 1/8 teaspoon
  10. Tofu 100 gram, cubed
  11. Boiled peas 50 gram
  12. 1 onion finely chopped
  13. 4 cloves of garlic crushed
  14. Refined oil 1 teaspoon
  15. Clarified butter 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Mix Malai , adequate lukewarm water and salt with wheat flour in a bowl and knead stiff dough
  2. Cover and keep it aside for 10 minutes
  3. Heat oil in a pan and splutter Cumin seeds
  4. Add onion and garlic. Saute until golden brown
  5. Mix peas,tofu and all spices. Cook for 1 minute. Switch off
  6. Allow mixture to cool. Divide dough into equal portions and shape into lemon sized balls
  7. Roll the balls into small discs. Add the stuffing at the center and seal completely
  8. Brush all the battis with ghee and place on prepared baking tray
  9. Bake bati for 15 minutes in preheated oven at 200 deg
  10. Serve hot with chole or sauce.
