Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer (cottage cheese)100 grams
  2. Refined flour (maida)1 cup
  3. Semolina (rawa/suji)1/4 cup
  4. Ghee2 tablespoons
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Carom seeds (ajwain)1/4 teaspoon
  7. Milk1/2 cup
  8. Red chilli powder1 teaspoon
  9. Dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) powder1/4 teaspoon
  10. Amchur powder1 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala powder1/2 teaspoon
  12. Oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add flour, suji, ghee, salt and carom seeds, mix well.
  2. Add milk and knead into the semi stiff dough and keep aside for 15 min.
  3. In a bowl add crushed paneer, salt, chilly pwd, amchoor, kasuri methi, garam masala and mix well.
  4. Take a tiny lump from the dough, roll it in a circle, place 1 tsp filling at one side, cover the other half of the circle over the filling and seal the edges with the fork.
  5. Fry these packets in hot oil and serve with sauce or mint chutney.
