Ingredients to make Creamy Spinach and Corn Toast
- 1 small bunch leaves chopped and washed
- 1 cup sweet kernels, boiled
- 1.5 tbsp
- 2 tbsp +1 tsp maida or
- 3 of garlic grated (and not chopped)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup hot
- 2 tsp
- 1 tbsp oregano (I used Dominos' oregano- 4 packets of those) if you don't have it, use all purpose seasoning
- 6-8 slices of white or brown bread

My Tip:Garlic adds the necessary flavor and punch to this recipe which can otherwise taste quite bland. You can also add chill flakes along with the garlic. The quantity of hot water to be added depends on how thick your sauce has become. You can add milk, but that would make it too heavy and rich. Use hot water and not cold water.
