This is little different from usual pedas, everyone will love it , the chocolatesyrup here used enhance the flavour of pedas

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Khoya - 200 grams
  2. Milk - 1/4 cup
  3. Sugar - 1/4 cup
  4. Hershyes Cocopowder - 2 tbspn
  5. Ghee - 1 tbspn
  6. Hersheys chocolate syrup - few tbspns
  7. Milk powder - 1 tbspn (optional)
  8. Few pistachios & Almonds

Instructions

  1. Keep all ingredients ready
  2. Heat pan n add in ghee
  3. Once ghee melts add in , milk , kaiya, sugar coco powder ,
  4. Adding sugar
  5. Mix well without lumps , if planning to make any shape add 1 tbspn of milk powder (this is optional) to mix well
  6. Add in hersheys chocolate syrup
  7. Add in milk powder
  8. Mix well ., After few min , bubbles will be formed , stir continuously on low flame. Maintain low flame through the process
  9. The dough is almost ready
  10. After 10 or 15 min the mixture will be ready , to check that takes small portion of a mixture n roll it in-between you fingers to check wether it forms a ball.
  11. Transfer the mixture to a plate
  12. Divide it into equal parts & roll to make asmoothballs
  13. Make impression in the centre of the dough n shape it as diyas , use plain khoya to make wicks and sliced almonds as fire & decorate with chopped pistachios
