Ingredients to make Five Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells in Cream Sauce

  • 20-25 jumbo Pasta shells
  • 400g ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup grated provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated garlic and tomato basil cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy/full cream
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

How to make Five Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells in Cream Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  2. Boil pasta in a lot of salted water for 9 minutes. Drain. Keep the shells on absorbent paper to soak in excess moisture. Cover with a damp towel.
  3. Combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic and tomato basil cheese, provolone cheese (1/2 cup), and cream cheese. Whisk till smooth.
  4. Add salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasoning to the cheese mixture. Stuff the shells with cheese filling.
  5. Heat butter in saucepan. Once it melts, add cream and milk. Bring it a slow simmer. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  6. Pour half of the cream sauce in a baking dish. Arrange shells over the sauce.
  7. Pour remaining half of the sauce over the shells. Sprinkle remaining provolone cheese over the sauce.
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes till its lightly golden in color.
