Aate gond ke laddoo(wholewheat)

Ingredients to make Aate gond ke laddoo(wholewheat)

  • Aaata (wheat flour) – Nearly 5 cups
  • Gond (Edible Gum) – ½ cup
  • ghee – 1 tbsp for deep frying Gond n 2 cups for frying Aata
  • Powdered sugar- 3 cups
  • Badaam and kaju – as much as u want but slightly powdered.

How to make Aate gond ke laddoo(wholewheat)

  1. Deep fry gond on medium heat till it becomes double its size. Remove from kadhai, crush it into a paste and keep it aside.
  2. Fry aata in the remaining ghee until its light brown. You will love the aroma it leaves, when it’s done. It takes around 15- 20 mins but keep it on low flame.
  3. Now mix Gond paste into the fried aata nicely. Let this mixture cool at a temperature which you can handle for making laddoos.(Don’t allow to cool completely as it’ll b difficult to shape it into laddoos later).
  4. Now add sugar and dry fruit powder to this. Take small portions and roll them between ur palms to make smooth laddoos. Let cool & store in an air tight container.

My Tip:

Serve with hot Milk.
