Chanadal Nutrela Kebab

Ingredients to make Chanadal Nutrela Kebab

  • chana dal 1 1/4 cup
  • Nutrela Badi 3/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • whole black cardamom 2
  • Green cardamom 4
  • cinnamon crushed 1 tsp
  • garlic 6 buds
  • red chilli whole as per taste
  • cloves 4
  • jeera sabut 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 10
  • Tez patta 2 small
  • Sabut dhania 1 tsp
  • corn flour 1 tsp
  • onion chopped 2
  • Pudina leaves and coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Chanadal Nutrela Kebab

  1. Boil chana dal and nutrela in 3 cups of water.
  2. Give 3 or 4 whistles.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Peel cardamon and tez patta.
  5. Cool and make a paste.
  6. Add cornflour, chopped pudina &coriander leaves, onion.
  7. Add salt if required.
  8. Mix with hand.
  9. Make balls and press lightly with palm.
  10. Heat oil on non stick griddle.
  11. Fry on medium to low heat.
  12. Turn and fry the other side.
  13. Take out on a tissue paper.
  14. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce.

My Tip:

Fry very carefully because it is very soft.
