Ingredients to make Maja blanca/ Coconut Milk Pudding

  • coconut cream or thick coconut milk 1 and 3/4 cup
  • sugar 1/4 cup (You can reduce the quantity as we r adding condensed milk too.)
  • Condensed milk 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • water or Milk 1/2 cup
  • Mixed nuts or fried fruits or Tutti fruity 1/4 cup

How to make Maja blanca/ Coconut Milk Pudding

  1. Keep the coconut milk and condensed milk on fire. While it's boiling, take the corn flour and mix it with 1/2 cup water or milk. Keep it aside.
  2. When the coco milk starts boiling, add in the sugar and vanilla essence. Boil it for 1 more minute. Then add in the corn flour mixture slowly and stir it well.
  3. Cook it on a low flame till it thickens. Then add in the fruits or nuts and mix it well.
  4. Once the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, remove it from the fire.
  5. Put it in another bowl and refrigerate it for 2-3 hrs.
  6. Your delicious pudding is ready. Cut it into pieces and serve.

My Tip:

Add sugar according to taste. If you add nuts, crush it a little. Fry the fruits, anything goes well with this. Add some sweet corn.
