Almond & Flaxseed Nutty Boli

Ingredients to make Almond & Flaxseed Nutty Boli

  • Multi grain flour 1cup
  • 50gm jaggery
  • 50gm flaxseed powder
  • 100gm almond powder
  • 1tbsp honey
  • 1/2tsp cardamom powder
  • 3tsp ghee or cooking oil
  • 1tbsp finely chopped dates
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

How to make Almond & Flaxseed Nutty Boli

  1. Add water and mix Multi grain atta,turmeric powder a tsp of ghee to make a soft dough and keep aside
  2. Mix jaggery powder,Almond powder, flaxseed powder, honey,cardamom powder,chopped dates
  3. Mix all well and make as a stuffing
  4. Make small round balls of stuffing
  5. Now take one small lemon size ball of dough and flatten it
  6. Keep the stuffing ball inside
  7. Close it and flatten it again
  8. Heat a non stick dosa pan,pour 1/4 tsp of ghee
  9. Put the Boli on it
  10. Cook it till it turns golden brown
  11. Flip it and cook same way
  12. Now hot and sweet healthy Boli is ready to relish

My Tip:

Cook some strawberry fruits in honey on low fire ,mash it and pour over Boli to make it tastier
