Ingredients to make Stuffed Green Peas Parathas

  • For stuffing -
  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • Roasted jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • jeera - 1 tsp Oil
  • Outer covering -
  • maida
  • salt
  • oil
  • water

How to make Stuffed Green Peas Parathas

  1. Put the green peas in boiling water till they are soft, it takes about 6-7 minutes.
  2. Strain them out and make a smooth paste with little water in a mixer. Serve.
  3. Heat a kadhai, add some oil, add jeera seeds.
  4. once they splutter, add the green peas paste, add the red chilly powder, salt and cook.
  5. Cook till it forms a thick paste, add the roasted jeera powder and mix. Keep aside to cool.
  6. Knead a soft dough, using the maida, little oil, salt and water. Rest it for 15 minutes.
  7. Now make roundels of the dough, stuff them with the green peas mixture and reshape them.
  8. Roll them out and shallow fry them like we do for parathas.
