ABOUT Gud-ly Gond-ly RECIPE

This mukhwaas is a very easy peasy and a quick recipe which can be made much ahead of time and stored for many days. But I bet it would not last long once you start munching it:) I have infused all the ingredients asked to use for the contest trying to create a homemade healthy delicacy. This can be consumed anytime of the day.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/4 cup khuskhus
  2. 1/4 cup white sesame seed
  3. 1/4 cup saunf
  4. 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  5. 1/2 cup flaky grated jaggery
  6. 1/4 cup amla candy ( I used readymade )
  7. 2 tablespoon desiccated coconut (you can use flakes also)
  8. 1 tablespoon ghee
  9. 1 1/2 tablespoon crushed sugar
  10. 1 tablespoon curry leaves cut into small pieces
  11. 2 tablespoon Gond small granules
  12. 1/4 cup flaxseed

Instructions

  1. Dry roast individually on low flame; saunf, sesame, flaxseed, coconut, khuskhus, curry leaves.
  2. Take little ghee and roast the almonds lightly until you get a nice nutty aroma and golden brown.
  3. Take little ghee and add gond on low flame and you will see it roasting into big bubbles. Cool them down on an absorbent paper.After it's cooled down lightly crush them.
  4. Mix the powdered sugar and crushed or grated jaggery together lightly.
  5. Once all the ingredients have cooled down completely take a large bowl and combine each ingredient lightly.
  6. Toss them all lightly.
  7. Fill them in clean dry bottles and serve anytime of the day.
