Flaxseed and Wheat Grain Laddo

Ingredients to make Flaxseed and Wheat Grain Laddo

  • wheat grains(soaked in water for 7 days) 1 Kg
  • Flax Seed powder 1 and 12 kg
  • Desi ghee 1 kg
  • jaggery 1 kg
  • almonds 1 cup
  • cashews 1 cup
  • pistachios 1 cup
  • raisins 12 cup
  • Charmagz 12 cup
  • Desiccated coconut 12 cup

How to make Flaxseed and Wheat Grain Laddo

  1. Before making laddoos we have to wash wheat grains thoroughly and soak in water for 7 days.
  2. Daily change the water of wheat. On preparation day wash it thoroughly with water and grind it in mixer.
  3. Add little water in mixer and make it a smooth paste. Put it in muslin cloth and take out the milk of wheat.
  4. In a heavy bottom pan dry roast flax seed powder. Remove it in a plate.
  5. Now dry roast almonds and cashews. Remove it in a plate.
  6. Now take ghee in a heavy bottom pan and roast milk of wheat till ghee separates from the milk.
  7. Add some desi ghee in a pan and add crushed jaggery in it to melt.
  8. Now mix all the items : cooked wheat milk, roasted flax seed powder, jaggery and dry fruits(roasted as well as unroasted including coconut)
  9. Make balls like laddoo and serve.

My Tip:

You can add mawa (khoya) to the laddos
