Ingredients to make Karachi halwa in the microwave

  • cornflour 1/2 cup
  • sugar 2 cups
  • water 2 cup
  • elaichi powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped cashew nuts 10-15
  • ghee 2 Tbsp
  • Food colour 1/2 tsp

How to make Karachi halwa in the microwave

  1. Mix cornflour, sugar, water and food colour in a large microwavable bowl without any lumps.
  2. Microwave in high for 6 min.after 4 min.in between Mix once, again microwave for 6 min.
  3. Stirring in between after every 2 mins.
  4. Fry cashew in ghee till golden brown and mix well along with elaichi powder .
  5. Grease a plate with ghee and pour in the plate and let it cool down for 1/2 hour or so, cut in to pieces and enjoy.
