Ingredients to make Samosa in the microwave

  • maida 1 cup
  • ghee 1/2 tbsp
  • Pinch of salt
  • oil 1/4 tsp
  • Stuffing :-
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Boiled, peeled mashed potatoes 2 cups
  • ginger- green chilli paste 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Dried mango powder 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Boiled green peas 1 cup
  • Finely chopped coriander 2 tbsp

How to make Samosa in the microwave

  1. Method for dough:-
  2. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl and add enough water to make a firm dough.
  3. Keep aside covered for 15 min.
  4. Knead again using oil till smooth ,keep aside covered with a wet muslin cloth .
  5. Divide the dough in to 4 equal portion and roll out each portion in to 6" diameter this chapatis .
  6. For the stuffing:-
  7. Heat the oil in a pan,and add the cumin seeds when the seeds crackle , add the potatoes and saute for 2 min.
  8. Add the ginger green paste ,salt,dry mango powder,chilli powder,green peas ,coriander mix well and saute for another 2 min.
  9. Cool completely and divide the stuffing in to 8 equal portion.
  10. How to proceed:-
  11. Divide each chapati in to 2 halves make a cone from each half .on a half chapati cut parallel lines with the help of knife and put another half over it.
  12. Stuff each cone with a portion of the stuffing .
  13. Seal the edges carefully ,using a little water .Keep aside .
  14. Repeat with the remaining chapati halves and stuffing to make 7 more samosas.
  15. Arrange on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200 c for 20 min.
  16. Serve hot .
