Ingredients to make Baked Aloo corn Methi samosa

  • Dough Ingredients:
  • wheat flour - 1 3/4 cup
  • Chiroti rava -1/4 cup
  • oil -5 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Ajwain -1 tsp
  • Cold water as required for dough preparation.
  • Filling Ingredients:
  • aloo mashed-1 cup
  • corn cooked -1 cup
  • methi chopped -1 cup
  • onion chopped -1/2 cup
  • Chat masala -2 tsp
  • red chilli powder -2 tsp
  • coriander powder -1 tsp
  • jeera powder -1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil-1 tbsp

How to make Baked Aloo corn Methi samosa

  1. Dough preparation:
  2. Mix wheat flour, Chiroti rava, salt and oil. Rub fine with fingers to form bread crumbes structure. Now add cold water and prepare stiff dough. Keep aside for 30 mins.
  3. Filling:
  4. Take oil in a pan, add onion, saute well, add Methi leaves, saute well. Now add cooked corn, aloo, all dry powders, salt and mix well. Cool the filling.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180℃ for 10 mins.
  6. Divide the dough into equal parts, roll out the Poori, divide into half, prepare cones, do the filling and keep the samosa ready for baking. Line the baking tray with parchment paper.
  7. Keep the samosa, slightly apply oil. After 15 mins, turn upside down samosa. Bake for 15 mins more. Serve with sauce.
