Curd and pepper prawn masala

Ingredients to make Curd and pepper prawn masala

  • 300 gms prawn
  • 1 onion cut into cubes
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 12 curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Curd and pepper prawn masala

  1. Take the prawns in a bowl, add curd, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper powder and ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  2. Check for taste and add salt or chilli powder or curd as required.
  3. Set aside and allow this to marinate for atleast 3 to 4 hours.
  4. Then heat oil in a pan and add the prawns along with the marinade to it.
  5. Mix well and cook for a few minutes till the prawns are cooked.
  6. Switch off the gas.
  7. Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan and add curry leaves and onions.
  8. Cook till the onions turn soft.
  9. Add this to the prawns and mix well.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
