Ingredients to make Veg fish kathal green curry in garlic

  • 1/2 kg kathal, 1 cup green coriander leaves, 2onions chopped, 4 green chillies 8-10 garlic cloves, 2 spoons oil, 1 spoon turmeric powder,1 spoon red chilly powder,salt to tate, 2 spoons coriander powder,1 spoon amchoor, oil for frying

How to make Veg fish kathal green curry in garlic

  1. Wash kathal pieces,then boil kathal with 2 cups of water and salt in pressure cooker for 2 whistles then drain out the water and put it aside.
  2. Now heat a pan add oil and fry kathal pieces, stir till kathal turns into beautiful golden color. Keep it aside.
  3. Now wash coriander leaves, chopped onion,garlic cloves,chopped green chillies and grind it in a mixture grinder with little water. Make a smooth paste of it.
  4. Heat oil in pressure cooker and put coriander paste into it, cook it for a single minute. Then add all spices salt red chilly powder turmeric coriander powder and mix well. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes. Add one cup water and wait till boiling it then cook it for 2 whistles.
  5. Now take another pan put cooked mixture add boiled and fried kathal, cook for 5 minutes on high flame. Add 2 cups of water and wait for a good boil. Now reduce the flame and cover the pan and leave for 5-6 minutes till oil separates. Now it is ready to serve.

My Tip:

If you want it more tangy then add amchoor powder accordingly.
