Suji Uttapam

Ingredients to make Suji Uttapam

  • suji - 1 cup
  • curd - 1/2 cup
  • Vegetables (carrot,onion,tomato,green chili,capsicum)
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
  • Hand full of fresh coriander leaves (finely washed and choped)
  • Salt ,red chilli powder and chat masals as per taste.
  • Oil/ghee

How to make Suji Uttapam

  1. Firstly mix curd n suji.Give 5 min rest to this.
  2. Finely cut all the vegetables.
  3. Mix vegetables and spices in suji curd mixture.
  4. Give it a nice fold, there should be no lumps.
  5. Heat a nonstick tawa and greece it with a spoon full of oil/ghee.
  6. Spred the mixture evenly on and cover it with a lid.
  7. Turn over this uttapam after seeing a light crust on the edges.
  8. Cook the other side by the same.
  9. Your yummy uttapam is ready to serve.
  10. Serve it with coriander chutny.

My Tip:

If u like more tangy taste u can add few drops of lemon juice in batter. If u want it more crispy u can add 2 tbsp rice powder with suji.
