Veggies In Schezwan Sauce

Ingredients to make Veggies In Schezwan Sauce

  • Paneer / cottage cheese 100 gms
  • Small brocolli or cauliflower
  • 4-5 babycorn
  • spinach leaves 4-5
  • 1 small capsicum
  • salt to taste
  • 2 chopped garlic
  • oil 4 tbspn
  • Laung 2 crushed
  • Ready-made tomato puree 1 pack
  • tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
  • red chilli sauce 1/2 tsp
  • Chilly garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • cornflour 2 tbsp
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 small onion

How to make Veggies In Schezwan Sauce

  1. Heat the oil.
  2. Shallow fry the paneer cubes.
  3. Keep it aside.
  4. In the same oil put chopped garlic.
  5. Put the red chilli paste. Stir.
  6. Put the chopped onion. Saute.
  7. Turn off the flame. Add the crushed laung, tomato puree, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, salt, black pepper powder , and sugar.
  8. Cook for a minute on a low flame.
  9. Add 1 cup of water and boil.
  10. Add the cornflour mixed in water.and stir continuously.
  11. Put the boiled veggies
  12. Bring to a boil .
  13. Serve with boiled rice or noodles

My Tip:

Boil the veggies in water for 1-2 minutes. Strain and refresh in cold water
