Vadiye che Kismoor

Ingredients to make Vadiye che Kismoor

  • 10 vadiye
  • 2 onions chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp coconut freshly grated
  • 1/4 tsp haldi/turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder (adjust as per taste)
  • 2-3 green chillies chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp tamarind juice
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • salt
  • Dhania/ coriander leaves

How to make Vadiye che Kismoor

  1. In a kadhai/wok heat the oil, add the vadi and fry till crisp.
  2. Coarsely crush them. I reserved 2 and crushed the rest.
  3. Crush all the ingredients except the vadiye together with your fingers.
  4. In the same oil fry onions, add turmeric, red chilli powder, coconut, green chilli, tamarind juice and salt. Fry for a couple of minutes.
  5. Add the crisp fried vadis just before serving.
