Ingredients to make Bananastem Curd Raita | Baledindu Mosarupachadi

  • banana stem chopped - 1 cup
  • yogurt / curd - 1/2 cup
  • coconut - 2 tbsp
  • jeera seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • green chillies - 2
  • coriander leaves - few leaves
  • ginger - a small piece
  • salt to taste

How to make Bananastem Curd Raita | Baledindu Mosarupachadi

  1. Cook the banana stem in a pan add enough water. Cook until tender drain water and keep aside
  2. In a blender add cooked banana stem, add coconut, jeera, coriander, chillies, ginger
  3. Grind into a smooth paste
  4. Transfer into a bowl. Add curd and mix well
  5. Serve with hot plain rice

Remove string from banana stem and chop finely
