Ingredients to make Kosambari

  • 1 cup soaked moong dal
  • Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut 5 tsp
  • Grated ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped cucumber 2 teaspoons
  • Chopped green chillies 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice 3 teaspoons
  • Coriander 1 teaspoon

How to make Kosambari

  1. Soak moong dal for one hour then drain water and take it in a bowl and add salt, grated carrot.
  2. Next add cucumber pieces, grated coconut, green chillies, grated ginger, add lime juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
My Tip: Soak moong dal for atleast one hour, add grated raw mango instead of lime juice if required.
