About Instant Scrambled Egg (Jhatpat Bhurjee Pav) Recipe

Whenever I made scrambled eggs, they always tasted bland and not like the streetfood that I am a great fan of. Then my husband taught me this recipe. It has a perfect blend of spices that it tastes just the way I like it.

Instant Scrambled Egg (Jhatpat Bhurjee Pav)

Ingredients to make Instant Scrambled Egg (Jhatpat Bhurjee Pav)

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 medium tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken masala
  • salt to taste
  • red chillie powder to taste
  • 4 tablespoons oil

How to make Instant Scrambled Egg (Jhatpat Bhurjee Pav)

  1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds splutter, add green chillies. Saute for few minutes.
  2. Add onions and salt and fry till light brown. Add tomatoes and cook till soft.
  3. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala and red chillie powder. Mix well and fry for a minute.
  4. Add eggs and keep stirring till eggs get cooked.
  5. Serve hot with pav/ bread and tomato ketchup.

My Tip:

You can use any pre packed chicken masala available in the market.
