Moong Dal Peda With Mango Twist

Ingredients to make Moong Dal Peda With Mango Twist

  • Moong dal 1 cup
  • Ripe Mango slice 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Ghee 1tbsp + for frying
  • Pistachios 5 -6 cut in half peaces

How to make Moong Dal Peda With Mango Twist

  1. Take moong dal, soak over night
  2. Now take mango slice and make fine puree
  3. Now take a pan put mango puree in it mix 1/4cup sugar now heat it and cook it for 10 mins on slow flame.
  4. Drain soaked dal.
  5. Now take a wok put ghee on it and heat it
  6. In hot ghee put moong dal, fry until it becomes slightly brown and remove it from ghee
  7. Now allow to cool it and then grind it in a mixer to a fine powder
  8. Now take a wok put 1/2 cup sugar & 3 cup water, cook it until sugar dissolve
  9. Now in sugar syrup add moong dal powder & keep stirring on slow flame
  10. When it left the side of the wok add 1 tbsp ghee and add mango puree in it
  11. Cook for 10 mins on a slow flame and switch off. Allow to cool it
  12. And now make pedas from it
  13. Decorate with nuts.
