Ingredients to make Gajar Methi Alu ki Rassewali Sabzi

  • Carrot 1 peeled & chopped in thick roundels
  • Fresh methi leaves handful
  • Potato 1 big chopped into cubes
  • 2 big red tomatoes grated
  • Haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
  • lalmirch powder 1 tsp
  • fresh green garlic 4 chopped
  • Green chillies 1
  • salt to taste
  • oil 1 spoon

How to make Gajar Methi Alu ki Rassewali Sabzi

  1. In a cooker put little oil. Add chopped fresh lasun/green garlic. Saute. Put 2 grated tomatoes. Put chopped hari mirchi. Add namak, lal mirchpowder, haldi and dhania powder. Saute till oil separates.
  2. Put carrots, chopped alu, methi leaves. Saute. To make gravy add required amount of water. Close the lid of cooker.
  3. Cook upto 2 whistles, then simmer it on low flame for a few minutes.
  4. Serve hot with Bajri/jowari roti or rice.
