Crunchy Bread Rolls

Ingredients to make Crunchy Bread Rolls

  • Boiled, peeled & mashed potatoes - 4 (medium size)
  • Boiled peas - 1/2 cup
  • carrots - 2 ( medium size & grated)
  • cottage cheese - 50 gms (grated or it can be cut into small cubes)
  • onion - 1 (one big size finely chopped)
  • green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Green coriander leaves - few ( finely chopped)
  • salt - According to your taste
  • A little bit of grated ginger
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - according to your taste
  • Chat masala - according to your taste
  • mint leaves - few (very finely chopped)
  • Dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Bread Slices - 10
  • water - according to your need
  • oil - for frying
  • tomato ketchup
  • Green coriander Chutney

How to make Crunchy Bread Rolls

  1. Take a bowl, add potatoes, peas, carrot, onion, green chilli, mint leaves, green coriander leaves. Into it.
  2. Then add cottage cheese, ginger and all the spices mentioned.
  3. Mix this potato mixture thoroughly.
  4. Take a bread slice, dip it into a bowl full of water and then remove it quickly from there, squeezing out the extra water from the bread with the help of your palm.
  5. Put a small portion of this potato mixture on a bread slice and roll it in the form of a ball.
  6. Make some more such balls using other bread slices as well.
  7. Heat some oil in the pan. Put these balls into hot steaming oil.
  8. Fry these balls evenly from all sides.
  9. Take out these balls or bread rolls on a tissue paper, so that all the excess oil gets removed from them.
  10. Serve these crunchy bread rolls with tomato ketchup and green coriander chutney.
