Ingredients to make Instant Tindora (ivy gourd) Pickle

  • Tindora - 10 to 15
  • Gujrati Sambhar masala - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Sambhar Masala consists of Rai na kuriya (split mustard seeds), methi na kuriya(split fenugreek seeds), salt,turmeric, chilli powder, asafoetida and oil.

How to make Instant Tindora (ivy gourd) Pickle

  1. Wash and dry the ivy gourd. Cut long stripes.
  2. Add sambhar masala and oil .Mix properly and serve.
  3. For sambhar masala take 3 parts of mustard seeds, 1 part of fenugreek seeds and mix along with all sambhar masala ingredients. You can store in glass bottle throughout the year.
My Tip: We keep this sambhar masala in stock to prepare fresh mango, carrot, ivy gourd pickles with this masala at any time.
