Ingredients to make Chiken dry masala

  • oil
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch
  • cardamom - 2
  • cloves - 4
  • chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Chicken masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • onion [ chopped] - 3
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • salt

How to make Chiken dry masala

  1. Wash the chicken and keep aside. Marinate it with some oil, salt and all the powdered spices for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a heavy bottomed sauce pan with some oil. Add cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
  3. Than add the chopped onion and fry till golden brown, Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute further.
  4. Now add the marinated chicken and give it a stir.
  5. Cover the vessel and cook the chicken on a low flame, with occasional stirring. Add little water when required.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, check for the seasoning and then serve with handful chopped coriander leaves.
