Spicy Indian Tofu Curry

Ingredients to make Spicy Indian Tofu Curry

  • Pressed Tofu 300 g
  • Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt, low fat 3/4 cup
  • Garam masala 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • Kashmir chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion one large sliced thin
  • Chopped coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

How to make Spicy Indian Tofu Curry

  1. Drain the tofu and cut into 1-inch cubes
  2. Add the tofu into a mixing bowl with garam masala, chilli powders, cumin powder, turmeric, salt, yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, and tomato paste.
  3. Coat the tofu well and set for marination
  4. Heat oil and fry the sliced chillies till golden brown.
  5. Add in the marinated tofu
  6. Saute well for a few minutes and add the rest of the marinated mix and half cup water
  7. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
  8. Add in the coriander leaves and serve hot
My Tip: Vary the level of chilli powder based on your preference. But keep the Kashmir chilli in
