Ingredients to make Milk Discs /Bhakri

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 4 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • Salt to taste
  • Milk for kneading

How to make Milk Discs /Bhakri

  1. In a bowl add flour,ghee,jeera,salt and mix it properly.
  2. Knead it using milk to make a slightly hard dough.
  3. Take a large pinch of dough and roll it into a bit thick round shape.
  4. Heat a tava and cook each bhakri on low heat.Apply pressure with a wooden press and cook until both the sides turns into golden brown in colour.
  5. Let the discs cool and it gets crispy.You may store it in an airtight container.
My Tip: You may add grated cheese too for added taste.
