ABOUT Moroccan Turkey Meatball RECIPE

Turkey meatball in a spicy moroccan curry with taste of apricot and cheese

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200gm minced turkey
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 BUNCH CHOPPED CORIANDER
  4. 1/2 cup Grated Cheese
  5. 2 tbsp chilli powder
  6. 2 tbsp Sprig Tangier: Mediterranean Spice Blend
  7. 2tbsp oil
  8. 1/2 cup dried apricot
  9. 100 GM HUNG CURD
  10. 4 small cardamoms
  11. 1/2 inch Cinnamon stick
  12. 1 LARGE ONION CHOPPED
  13. 2TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  14. 2tbsp tomato puree
  15. 1 TEASP LIME JUICE

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the lime into the bowl,full of chopped coriander.
  2. Add salt and Red chilli powder.
  3. Add 1tbsp Sprig Tangier: Mediterranean Spice Blend
  4. Add 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. Add minced Turkey into the bowl.mix all items properly.
  6. Make balls with the mixture.
  7. Heat up 1tbsp oil in a pan.
  8. Add the turkey meatballs in the pan.
  9. Fry them until light brown.
  10. Heat up 1tbsp oil in a kadhai.
  11. Pour the chopped onions.
  12. Fry them properly.
  13. Add elaichi and cinnamon stick.
  14. Add 1tbsp ginger garlic paste.
  15. Add tomato puree.Cook well.
  16. Add 1tbsp Sprig Tangier: Mediterranean Spice Blend.
  17. Pour beaten hung curd and cook well.Pour 1/2 glass water.
  18. Add chopped apricots and stir well.add salt.
  19. Now add all the meatbals into kadhai and cook for 3 mins.
  20. Take them in a ovenproof bowl.
  21. Add chopped coriander from top.
  22. Add cheese from top.
  23. Bake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven for 10mins.
  24. Serve hot with roti,pulao,biryani.
