Ingredients to make Rice pudding in vermicelli basket

  • Full cream milk - 1 liter
  • Vermiceilli - 1 cup
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 tin
  • Gobindbhog rice - 1/4 cup
  • sugar - 4 tbsp
  • cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • raisins - 1 tbsp
  • Crushed cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
  • Strawberry - 1
  • clarified butter - 2 tbsp

How to make Rice pudding in vermicelli basket

  1. Heat butter in a pan.
  2. Add vermicelli and fry until dark brown.
  3. Add condensed milk in the vermicelli and mix well.
  4. Add vermicelli in the bowl to shape like bowl and keep in the freezer for 4 - 5 hours.
  5. Boil milk in a heavy bottom vessel.
  6. Once boiled add the gobindbhog rice and keep in the low flame.
  7. Stir occassionaly till thick.
  8. Add sugar, cardamom powder and dry nuts and mix well.
  9. Now rice pudding is ready
  10. After 4 - 5 hours vermicelli basket is ready.
  11. Place the rice pudding in the vermicelli basket
  12. Garnish with strawberry and serve
