Ragda Chaat

Ingredients to make Ragda Chaat

  • 200 grams Ragda /white peas
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tspn haldi
  • 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1 tspn cummin powder
  • 2 tblspn green chutney(corriander and mint )
  • 2 tblspn Tamarind chutney /red chilli chutney
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • Some fresh corriander chopped

How to make Ragda Chaat

  1. Soak Ragda overnight or 6-7 hours
  2. Boil this in water,with salt ,turmeric and chilli powder
  3. Add at least 750 ml water,boil in pressure cooker 20-25 minutes
  4. If the Ragda seems watery,cook in open cooker it soak fast ,remove in a bowl
  5. Now cool little
  6. Chop the onion fine and the corriander too
  7. Keep Chutneys ready
  8. Garnish with corriander,onion,Chutneys and serve
  9. Mix all and enjoy this complete Meal

My Tip:

If you want the ragda not mixed up cook ten minutes less open cooker see if done and just keep on flame for 2 min open
