Banana payasam

Ingredients to make Banana payasam

  • Nenthran pazham ( Kerala banana) 2 number
  • ghee 3 table spoon
  • sugar 2 teaspoon
  • Condensed milk 5 table spoon
  • sabudana 1/4 cup
  • Milk 3 cups
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • cashew 10 numbers
  • tulsi 4 leaves

How to make Banana payasam

  1. Chop banana and toast it in a tawa with ghee and mash slightly with spoon
  2. Sprinkle some sugar and roast it
  3. Dry fry sabudana and pressure cook it well
  4. Add milk and condensed milk with sabudana and boil
  5. Add banana and cook for 5 minutes
  6. Check taste and if needed add more condensed milk
  7. In a pan fry cashew and add to it
  8. Add cardamom powder
  9. Serve hot
