Chicken gravy

Ingredients to make Chicken gravy

  • chicken ¼ kg
  • Sesame oil : 3 tsp
  • salt
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • Green chilli 2
  • cinnamon 1
  • cardamom 1
  • kasakasa 1 pinch
  • bay leaf 1
  • cloves 2
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander, curry leaves
  • turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • For coconut paste
  • Grated coconut 3 tsp
  • fennel seeds ½ tsp
  • curd 3 tsp

How to make Chicken gravy

  1. Keep the meat out of the fridge at least 30 mins before cooking.
  2. Clean the Chicken with turmeric powder and add 3 spoon curd and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, saute onion, tomato green chilli for 2 mins.
  4. Add cinnamon and cardamom,bay leaf, cloves, fennel seeds and keep saute for 1 min.
  5. Add garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder,Cumin powder, Ginger garlic paste and saute for 3 mins.
  6. Add chicken with curd and cook covered for 5 - 8 mins.
  7. Add required water and cook for 10 - 15 mins.
  8. Add coconut paste and cook for 2 - 3 mins
  9. Add curry leaves, coriander and cook for 1 min
