Ingredients to make fish resala

  • katla/rohu fish 2
  • onion paste 2 tablespoon
  • ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  • yogurt 2 table spoon beaten
  • sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt according to taste
  • oil 1/2 cup
  • ghee 1 tea spoon
  • cinnamon 1
  • bay leaf 1
  • cardamom 1
  • clove 1
  • red chili 1
  • popyseed paste 1 teaspooon
  • green chilli paste 1 teaspoon

How to make fish resala

  1. sprinkle little salt to fish and fry in oil just for sometimes.Colour of fish will remain white.
  2. let the fish cool down then add in onion ginger paste and cashew paste.Now add ghee in remaining fish add whole spices and dry red chilli.Now in goes marinated fish.Add in salt and sugar.Now add in beaten yogurt and poppy seed paste green chilli paste and little water.
  3. Now cover lid and in little flame let the fish cook.After 8-10 min remove lid n sprinkle garam masala powder.Serve with hot steamed rice .

My Tip:

Serve this fish immediately after cooking .It will create a special taste
