Makhana kabab

Ingredients to make Makhana kabab

  • cottage cheese/paneer - 100 gms
  • Makhana /lotus seeds - 50 gms
  • ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
  • green chilly paste - 1/4 tsp
  • cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Sendha salt - to taste
  • clarified butter - 4 tbsp

How to make Makhana kabab

  1. Heat one tbsp clarified butter in a pan.
  2. Add lotus seeds/makhana and fry till brown.
  3. Once cooled, add in the blender and make a powder.
  4. Grate the cottage cheese/paneer.
  5. Shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness
  6. Heat clarified butter in a pan.
  7. Place the makhana kabab and cook till golden brown in color.
  8. Flipping once in between.
  9. Always cook in medium flame.
  10. Drain in paper napkin.
  11. Serve hot with tea
