Doda burfee

Ingredients to make Doda burfee

  • Khoya /reduced milk 200g
  • sugar 250g
  • Daliya (broken wheat) 150g
  • ghee 250g
  • pistachios 25g

How to make Doda burfee

  1. Heat and fry khoya well, till brown
  2. Heat ghee in kadhai. Fry the daliya till golden brown.
  3. Add sugar in kadhai, water. Make in to a thick syrup (1 wire consistency).
  4. Add crumbled khoya, daliya , little ghee to it. Mix well.
  5. Grease a plate with ghee. Pour the contents of kadhai into it to set.
  6. Garnish with pistachios. Keep it to cool and set.
  7. Divide with knife and serve.
