About Kadah prasad Recipe

Kadah prasad is soul of every panjabi. Basically it's a whole wheatflour halua. Kadah prasad is distribute at gurudwara sahib everyday. Panjabis often make this on festivals or on puja. Panjabis people chanting moolmantra path while preparing kadah prasad.

Kadah prasad

Ingredients to make Kadah prasad

  • 1 cup ghee /clarified butter
  • 1 cup Wholewheat flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups of water
  • Some almonds finely chopped

How to make Kadah prasad

  1. Melt ghee in a pan, add whole wheat flour to the ghee Stir mixture continuesly to lightly roast flour.
  2. Meanwhile add sugar to water and set pot to boil .
  3. Continues strring flour and cook until ghee separates from roasted flour and turning nice golden color with nice aroma.
  4. Pour boiling sugar syrup into roasted flour very carefully. Keep stirring otherwise lumps will form. So stir continusley until mixture leaves the sides of the pan. Kadah prasad is ready.

My Tip:

You can add jaggery too instead of sugar.
