About Fish and Shrimps Masala Recipe

This recipe is widely used in Orissa and cooked with seafoods to add a unique taste.

Fish and Shrimps Masala

Ingredients to make Fish and Shrimps Masala

  • mustard seeds 1/4th cup
  • garlic large pods 6-8 or 1 bulb if using smaller ones
  • water as needed

How to make Fish and Shrimps Masala

  1. Blend in the mustard seeds with garlic to make a smooth paste. Use 1-2 tsp or as per you need while cooking the sea food.
  2. To cook, mix this paste with other spices and marinate the fish. Saute this paste with other ingredients before making the curries.

My Tip:

Store in the freezer. Thaw and use as needed.
