Pork Dry Fry

Ingredients to make Pork Dry Fry

  • Boneless pork with fat (20-30 fat) 500 grams
  • onions sliced 2 medium
  • ginger Garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  • green chilly sliced 4
  • garlic chopped 6-7
  • curry leaves
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • red chilly powder 1 tablespoon
  • Meat masala 2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 2 teaspoons
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • coconut oil

How to make Pork Dry Fry

  1. Wash and clean the pork. Marinate it with turmeric powder, chilly powder, meat masala, ginger garlic paste,vinegar, salt and curry leaves. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, fry until golden brown. Add grated coconut and saut until brown. Grind this into a coarse powder and keep it aside.
  3. Sear the pork in a cooker without oil for 5-10 minutes. Add just enough water to boil the pork. It should just cover the meat. Boil for 15-20 minutes depending on the age of the meat.
  4. Heat oil, add cumin, onions, green chillies and curry leaves. Saut for 10 minutes. Add the pork and cook until dry.
  5. Add garam masala, pepper powder. Stir for a minute.
  6. Add the coconut and garlic powder and stir for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
