Ingredients to make Wheat and apple cupcake

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Half cup jaggery
  • Half cup water
  • 1 apple peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powdr
  • Few drops vanilla essence
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1 pouch gems
  • Little bit icing sugar and dark chocolate for garnishing

How to make Wheat and apple cupcake

  1. Mix 1/2 cup jaggery with 1/2 cup water , keep aside for 15 min after that sieve the mixture and make a syrup
  2. Meanwhile grate 1 cup apple, keep aside
  3. In a mixing bowl take flour, add baking powder , baking soda, salt , nutmeg powder, cinnamon powdr, mix all ingredients with soft hand
  4. Mean while preheat the oven for 10 min at 180 degree temp
  5. Now in jaggery syrup add vanilla essence and olive oil
  6. In jaggery mixture add flour mixture, mix the mixture with light hand so that no lumps are left behind
  7. After that add grated apple to the mixture
  8. Take the muffins tray line up with muffin cups and fill the cup with mixture
  9. Tap the tray so that the mixture settle down and any air bubble would go away.
  10. Put the muffins tray in a preheated oven at 170 degree celsius for 30 min Check in between the muffins with tooth pick if it come clear muffins are ready
  11. Let rest the muffins for 10 min Take out all the muffins in a plate grate some icing sugar and dark chocolate and decorate with gems
