Ingredients to make Fish with tender mango /fish curry with kachhe aam

  • Fish pieces 6 (fillets )
  • Raw mango 2
  • Sliced shallots 1/2 cup or 2 onions sliced
  • curry leaves 12
  • Slit green chilli 3
  • Crushed garlic and ginger 1 tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Curry powder 1tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • salt
  • sugar a pinch
  • coconut milk 1 cup thin
  • Oil coconut or any

How to make Fish with tender mango /fish curry with kachhe aam

  1. Wash and cut fishes in medium size
  2. Marinate with salt and turmeric powder for 15_20 mins
  3. Fry them lightly both sides
  4. Wash and cut mango in thick slices
  5. Heat oil in a nonstick pan
  6. Add onion and curry leaves
  7. Saute for some time
  8. Add crushed garlic and ginger
  9. Next add turmeric powder , chilli powder , coriander powder and curry powder
  10. Saute in low heat for 3_4 mins
  11. Add mangoes
  12. Fry for 3_4 mins
  13. Now add coconut milk and salt
  14. Boil slowly for 5 mins
  15. Add fish to the gravy
  16. Cover and cook for 15 mins
  17. Add sugar and green chilli
  18. Now switch off gas
  19. Garnish with fried shallots and curry leaves
