Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 teaspoon dry yeast.
  2. 1 cup whipped cream
  3. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  4. 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  6. 3 1/2 cup self raising flour
  7. 1/4 cup warm water
  8. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  9. 1/3 cup sugar
  10. 1 cup powdered sugar
  11. Ghee and Refined Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Put dry yeast in the warm water and keep aside.
  2. Take the cream, vanilla essence and 1/3 cup sugar, beat until it becomes light.
  3. Now take all the ingredients (except powdered sugar) add the yeast and make a soft dough.
  4. Put ghee/refined oil in a wok and place on low flame.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/3 inch thickness.
  6. Cut small rounds with a donut cutter.
  7. Now deep fry in the oil on medium heat after a minute turn and cook the other side.
  8. When it has a nice golden colour take out of the wok.
  9. Roll the donuts in powdered sugar and serve.
