Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup soak moong daal
  2. 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
  3. Salt
  4. Haldi
  5. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  6. Oil for frying
  7. For kadhi---
  8. 1 tsp oil
  9. 1 tsp Rai
  10. 1 tsp jeera
  11. Hing
  12. 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  13. curry leaves
  14. 2 dry red chilli
  15. 2 green chilli
  16. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  17. 1/2 cip chopped onion
  18. 1 cup curd
  19. 1/2 cup besan
  20. Salt
  21. 1/2 tsp haldi
  22. Coriander leaves
  23. For tadka---
  24. 1/2 tsp oil
  25. Rai
  26. Jeera
  27. Dry red chilli
  28. Red chilli powder
  29. Haldi
  30. For channa rice----
  31. 1 cup cooked rice
  32. Salt
  33. 1 tsp ghee
  34. Coriander leaves
  35. 1/2 cup boiled channa
  36. 1/2 tsp oil
  37. Salt
  38. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  39. Haldi
  40. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  41. 1 tsp amchoor powder
  42. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  43. Nachos and coriander leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. Grind soak daal and make paste
  2. Add ginger and salt in it.
  3. Add soda and whish finely
  4. Heat oil and make small pakodas
  5. Keep in bowl
  6. Now take besan and curd in bowl
  7. Add 1/2 cup water
  8. Add salt and haldi
  9. Whisk till remove lumps
  10. Heat oil add rai, jeera and hing
  11. Add fenugreek seeds
  12. Now add curry leaves
  13. When sputter add ginger garlic paste
  14. Saute and add onion
  15. Cook till pink then add besan curd mix
  16. Stir regular otherwise it will curdle
  17. Add salt haldi
  18. Cook for 5 min.on low heat
  19. Then add pakoras
  20. And cook
  21. Our kadhi is ready
  22. Take cooked rice add ghee, salt and coriander leaves
  23. Heat oil in pan add jeera
  24. Add boiled channa and all spices
  25. Mix all of them
  26. Our channa are ready
  27. Serve kadhi with rice and channa
  28. Serve nachos also

Reminds me of my childhood. My grandmother used to make this for me.
