Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. one small bunch of fenugreek leaves
  2. carrots two
  3. oil for cooking two tablespoons
  4. salt as per taste
  5. red chilli powder half teaspoon
  6. turmeric powder one fourth teaspoon
  7. dry coriander powder half teaspoon
  8. jeera/cumin seeds half teaspoon

Instructions

  1. remove methi/fenugreek leaves from stem raw and small stems can be kept
  2. chop them fine
  3. wash peel carrot and chop finely
  4. heat a pan with oil add jeera/cumin seeds
  5. let it crackle
  6. add both chopped methi leaves and carrot
  7. add all d spices
  8. cook on high flame as methi leaves will leave water
  9. when the water dries up cover and cook on medium flame
  10. keep stirring in between
  11. cook till carrots are soft
  12. serve hot with chapati
