Masoor Masala.

Ingredients to make Masoor Masala.

  • 1 cup whole masoor dal.
  • 2 tsp orange masoor dal
  • 2 onion
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 green chilli.
  • 1tsp gng paste.
  • salt
  • 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
  • 1/4tsp red chilli
  • 1/4tsp garam masala.

How to make Masoor Masala.

  1. Soak both dal 5 minutes.
  2. Put in cooker.
  3. Add salt.
  4. After 1 whistle cook 7 minutes on simmer.
  5. Heat oil in a pan
  6. Add cumin seeds.
  7. Add chopp onion
  8. Put gng paste.
  9. Add chopp tomato
  10. Cook well.
  11. Add red chilli
  12. Pour tadka in dal.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  14. Serve with chapati or rice.

My Tip:

No turmeric.
