ABOUT Kung Pao Potatoes RECIPE

This is vegetarian Chinese recipe.. authentic this recipe make with chicken. Fried potatoes in soya sauce and chilli sauce with lots of garlic and ginger makes it spicy, tasty and will definitely open your taste buds.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 big size boiled potatoes
  2. 2 tsp Corn flour
  3. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  4. Oil for frying potatoes
  5. For kung pao sauce
  6. 4-5 dry red chilli chopped
  7. 2 tbsp chilli oil/ seasme oil
  8. 2 tbsp grated ginger
  9. 2 tbsp grated garlic
  10. 1 palf roasted crushed peanuts
  11. 5-6 spring onions stalks
  12. 1 palm ful chopped green onions
  13. 1/2 tsp chili powder
  14. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  15. 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  16. Water as needed
  17. 1tbsp Cornflour
  18. FOR GARNISH
  19. Sliced bell peppers
  20. Crushed peanuts

Instructions

  1. ADD 2 TSP CORNFLOUR INTO 2 BOILED POTATOES
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP PEPPER & MIX
  3. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  4. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP, TAKE OFF HEAT AND KEEP ASIDE
  5. IN 1 TBSP HOT OIL, ADD 5-6 SPRING ONION STALKS
  6. ADD 2 TBSP GINGER-GARLIC & 4-5 DRY RED CHILLIES
  7. ADD 2 TSP CHILLI SAUCE
  8. ADD 2 TSP SOYA SAUCE
  9. ADD THE FRIED POTATOES
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP CHILL POWDER
  11. ADD SALT TO TASTE & CORNFLOUR SLURRY ( 1 TBSP CORNFLOUR + 1/4 CUP WATER )
  12. COOK FOR 2-3 MINS, ADD A HANDFUL OF ONION GREENS & 1 TSP ROASTED & CRUSHED PEANUTS
  13. SERVE HOT
